Hello, I am Denyse Breeden

a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I bring over 20 years of experience across a variety of clinical settings and have maintained a private practice for 9 years. My work goes beyond traditional talk therapy. We integrate clinical grounding with somatic release, often ending sessions by intentionally anchoring peace and nervous system restoration. My clients describe leaving the office feeling 'cleansed,' grounded, and emotionally renewed - a state that carries through their week.

In a compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment, I offer a personalized approach tailored to each client’s unique needs to support effective and meaningful therapy. My work is results-oriented, open-minded, creative, and holistic. I believe every individual holds the potential for wholeness, and I am honored to support clients in their healing process.

I specialize in working with adults experiencing unresolved trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, neurodivergence, adjustment disorders, phobias, narcissistic abuse, relationship issues, codependency, people-pleasing, perfectionism, stress management, a history of sexual abuse, high-functioning autism (Asperger’s), and low self-esteem. I also work with empaths and highly sensitive people.

I support clients in finding their path toward a meaningful and fulfilling life by listening deeply and offering compassionate guidance as they move toward healing.

Many of my clients choose hypnotherapy, an evidence-based complementary and integrative health approach. Hypnotherapy involves entering a natural trance state - a state of focused attention and inner absorption allowing access to material not typically available to the conscious mind. This state supports cognitive, emotional, and physical healing responses. I find hypnotherapy particularly effective for resolving past experiences that continue to impact present mental and emotional well-being, including the release of deeply held emotional patterns and trauma-related blocks.

Healing is a layered process that unfolds over time. It asks for courage, patience, trust, and compassion for yourself along the way. When you remain engaged in the work, the results are deeply worthwhile as you move into a more fulfilling life.
