Denyse Breeden

Hello, I am Denyse Breeden

a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I bring over 20 years of experience across a variety of clinical settings and have maintained a private practice for 10 years. I support individuals navigating moderate to mild symptoms.

In a compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment, I offer a personalized approach tailored to each client’s unique needs to support effective and meaningful therapy. My work is results-oriented, open-minded, creative, and holistic. I believe every individual holds the potential for wholeness, and I am honored to support clients in their healing process.

I specialize in working with women, 18 to 64 years old, experiencing unresolved trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, moderate symptoms of Bipolar, ADHD, OCD, neurodivergence, people-pleasing, perfectionism, stress management, and low self-esteem. I also work with empaths and highly sensitive people.

Therapy Approaches Offered:

  • Hypnotherapy

  • Somatic Experiencing

  • Mindfulness-Based Approaches

  • CBT and DBT

  • Person-Centered

  • Energy psychology

  • Mood regulation tools

  • Guided emotional release work

I support clients in finding their path toward a meaningful and fulfilling life by listening and offering compassionate guidance as they move toward healing.

Many of my clients choose hypnotherapy, an evidence-based integrative health approach. Hypnotherapy involves entering a natural trance state - a state of focused attention and inner absorption allowing access to material not typically available to the conscious mind. This state supports cognitive, emotional, and physical healing responses. I find hypnotherapy particularly effective for resolving past experiences that continue to impact present mental and emotional well-being, including the release of deeply held emotional patterns and trauma-related blocks.

Healing is a layered process that unfolds over time. It asks for courage, patience, trust, and compassion for yourself along the way. When you remain engaged in the work, the results are deeply worthwhile as you move into a more fulfilling life.

Scope of Practice & Level of Care
As a solo private practice, I support clients experiencing mild to moderate symptoms. Because I am a one-person practice, I do not have the collaborative support staff or 24/7 crisis availability required for high-acuity or severe symptoms.

If you are experiencing severe impairment in daily functioning, frequent crises, or require a higher level of care, I am happy to help connect you with local clinics or intensive programs that can safely and fully meet your needs.

Providing in-person and online therapy for California residents and telehealth for clients throughout Colorado.
